Completely Hand Crafted

These towels are hand woven and hand dyed using time-honouredtechniques passed down through generations of families on traditional, wooden shuttle looms.

There are only a few families left in the world with the equipment and knowledge to produce this particular weave. The end result is a fabric of integrity and strength, with a look, singular to this craft, that is recognised throughout the world.

Because they are weaved slowly and gently by hand on a shuttle loom, the threads are very strong and the towels will last a minimum of 20 years if cared for correctly. 

Add to the strength of the thread that these are 100% pure organic cotton, and not coated in starch or wax like factory-made towels, and you have an unsurpassed level of absorption. You'll find these towels dry the body really well - they don't just move water around the body.
