Embodyme's founder Sarah Reid shares what she's been loving lately...
Wearing
I couldn’t resist the Satin Bodice Top in ivory from Maggie Marilyn. The soft silk feels beautifully feminine, while the structured shape is effortless and refined. It’s one of those pieces that makes you feel confident and put together, whether you dress it up or down. I’ve also got my eye on the Clare V Grande Fanny in Cassis. A simple, timeless crossbody for summer days on the go.
Musician or Playlist on Repeat
I’m having a Fleetwood Mac moment. Their music is soulful and timeless. It always grounds me and reminds me to slow down and breathe. It’s the kind of soundtrack that makes even the everyday feel a little more meaningful.
Reading Lately
I’ve recently finished The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins, and it really resonated. It’s a simple idea but a really powerful reminder to release control and let just let things unfold. Worth the hype!
Watching Lately
I’ve been into foreign series on Netflix lately as having to read subtitles stops me from multitasking and forces me to really watch. I love hearing different languages, and the most recent one I finished, Medusa, was intriguing. I’ve also been watching Limitless with my teenagers. It’s full of fascinating insights into health, longevity, and resilience. I also love being able to sit down together and chat about each episode. Also, let’s be honest, Chris Hemsworth is very easy on the eye.
Podcast
I’m really enjoying Solved by Mark Manson. He deep dives into one big topic per episode. They’re long but packed with perspective and smart takeaways. I always finish an episode feeling like I’ve learned something new or looked at life in a different way.
Eating / Drinking Lately
Nothing beats walking up the road for a morning coffee at Mor (@mor_bakery). Last week I had lunch at the new deli Mother (@mother.akl) in Westmere. Apart from the beautiful interior, their chicken sandwich was unreal.
At home, my new 3pm ritual is a mug of bone broth with collagen and creatine. It’s the perfect pick-me-up for my post-menopausal body and brain, and a much better option than more caffeine. I’m also loving the change of season and making vibrant, fresh salads again.
Following
Olga Newman from Face Up (@olga_faceup). Her approach to face-sculpting massage and skin health is a complete game-changer. She’s authentic, incredibly knowledgeable, and generous with her content. I love people who are quietly brilliant at what they do, and she’s definitely one of them.
Looking Forward To
We’re finally launching a new sensorial body care product for Christmas 2025. It’s been a long time coming (the perils of being a conscious founder with a streak of perfectionism!) and I can’t wait to share it. All I’ll say for now is that it’s going to be the perfect gift.
Dreaming Of
Dreaming of a trip to Amangiri, Canyon Point, Utah. Aside from the breathtaking scenery, I’d love to go there for the silence and deep stillness that only vast nature can give you. My idea of absolute bliss.
Thinking About
I keep thinking about the impact of AI and what it means for humanity, especially as we’re already so disconnected from ourselves. With teenage kids, I often wonder what their world and their careers will look like. It feels like we’re standing on the edge of a huge shift.
A Recent Moment
Last month, Embodyme took part in the Nimbus Live Day Retreat in Sydney. It was our first time introducing the brand in Australia, and the emotional connection people had to our oils during a journaling session was profound. It was one of those moments that made me pause and feel genuinely proud that our brand can have that kind of impact on consciousness.
Enjoying
My favourite way to reconnect with myself will always be an Embodyme ritual. Breathing in the scent, feeling the oil on my skin, and choosing the emotion I want to embody. It’s such a simple way to transform how I feel, inside and out. I’ve been trying to get back into yoga, a practice I’ve always loved for its mind and body connection. EmbodyYin with Zoe at Red Room is one of my favourite classes.
Sunday Fave
Your curation is always so beautiful. The list is long, but if I had to choose my top three, it would be the BAINA Miles Bath Sheet in Sage/Chalk, the Franca Incense Holder in Rosso, and The Mountain Is You by Brianna Wiest. Please tell Santa.
