If Brazilian Brutalism is the architectural DNA, then the spirit of Little Cove is giving me Spanish-speaking Pedro Pascal: strong hands and day-three stubble (steadfast, grounded, earthy) - but with an easy softness, an artistic soul, and even a few moments of flamboyance.
The kitchen - like the entire home - is a beautiful balance of strong yet soft, simplistic yet sophisticated.
The terracotta-tiled flooring here is perfect for balmy Queensland, where Little Cove is located. It also pairs beautifully with those clay-like microcement walls.
We love the 80's/90's flair of this chrome mirror - designed by Georgina herself.
Warm peachy tones in the master, elevated with more marble and chrome.
There are so many custom details in this home - just in this one corner: a sculptural wall light by lighting designers Volker Haug, custom dining table by Georgina Jeffries; custom window seat upholstery.
Another fave design detail - this huge steel tilt window that opens the moody kitchen out to the sun-bleached garden courtyard. And did you spot more of those terracotta tiles? They've been used for built-in elements both indoors and out.
Georgina describes her work as a "harmony between nostalgia, refuge, occasion" - and, I mean, how perfect is that.
