These Saint Valentine gold earrings are crafted in 18k Gold Vermeil - a base of solid 925 sterling silver, plated with a thick two microns of solid 18k gold. Gold Vermeil is the next best thing to solid gold - it is a more premium quality than regular gold plating and will last so much longer. It is also naturally hypoallergenic and nickel free.
